B.Sc. (Computer Science)

The Bachelor of Science in Computer Science (B.Sc. C.S.) programme at Thakur Ramnarayan College of Arts and Commerce (TRCAC) is designed in accordance with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 to provide students with a strong foundation in computer science and emerging technologies. The programme combines theoretical knowledge with practical learning to develop programming expertise, logical reasoning, analytical thinking, and innovation.

The curriculum covers key areas such as Programming, Data Structures, Database Management Systems, Software Development, Operating Systems, Computer Networks, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Data Science. Students gain hands-on experience through laboratory sessions, projects, internships, workshops, industry interactions, and technology-enabled learning.

With a strong emphasis on experiential and skill-based education, the programme equips students to solve real-world computing challenges and adapt to the evolving technology landscape. Graduates are well prepared for careers in software development, artificial intelligence, data science, cybersecurity, cloud computing, and IT services, while also building a solid foundation for higher education, research, and entrepreneurship.
