Unit of Thakur Ramnarayan College of Arts & Commerce in association with SOVO IDF has initiated a project named as Aashayein, to help the underprivileged students & Zilla Parishad schools of the rural areas in Dahanu, Vangaon, Malad, and Birsa Munda Bal Gurukul Borivali by giving them an Educational Kit consisting of a school bag , notebooks, pencil and eraser box and colors with a motto to educate every individual in collaboration with IDF. The training camp was of 3 days, basic yoga training as per CYP provided as prescribed by AAYUSH from the experts of Kaivalyadhama Yoga Institute. The session aimed to create basic yogic skills and also to know the science behind Yoga. N.S.S Unit of Thakur Ramnarayan College of Arts and Commerce organised Indian Swchata League. Teams who were present voluntarily for collection of waste and creation of awareness through rally. Volunteers carried out the activity by picking up the littered plastic wrappers, boxes, papers and empty bottles and disposing them by segregating the dry waste and wet waste, cleaning the area and spreading awareness about the importance of disposing the waste correctly in the dustbin instead of littering it in the surrounding. Unit of Thakur Ramnarayan College of Arts & Commerce, on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan provided 4200 handmade rakhis to the Indian Armies as an act of gratitude towards the protection and safety provided by them throughout the society. The Volunteers made rakhis at the college campus for consecutive 5 days while making the rakhis and later the rakhis were neatly packed with the packet of Tika and Sweets for our Soldiers in order to be able to express their gratitude towards them.
