मराठी भाषा दिन २०२६

साहित्य मंडळाने एनएसएस युनिटच्या सहकार्याने मराठी भाषा दिनानिमित्त उत्साहपूर्ण कार्यक्रमाचे आयोजन केले. या कार्यक्रमाद्वारे प्रख्यात कवी कुसुमाग्रज यांच्या जयंतीला अभिवादन करण्यात आले. या उत्सवातून मराठी भाषेची समृद्धता, साहित्यिक परंपरा आणि सांस्कृतिक महत्त्व अधोरेखित करण्यात आले. विद्यार्थ्यांनी कविता वाचन, निबंध लेखन आणि वक्तृत्व स्पर्धांमध्ये उत्साहाने सहभाग घेतला. या स्पर्धांमधून विद्यार्थ्यांनी आपल्या मातृभाषेबद्दलचा अभिमान व्यक्त केला तसेच आधुनिक समाजातील तिच्या महत्त्वावर विचार मांडले. या कार्यक्रमामुळे विद्यार्थ्यांमध्ये भाषिक जागरूकता, सर्जनशीलता आणि सांस्कृतिक ओळखीची जाणीव अधिक दृढ झाली. मराठी भाषा आणि साहित्य जतन व संवर्धन करण्यासाठी विद्यार्थ्यांना उत्साहाने आणि आदराने पुढाकार घेण्याची प्रेरणा मिळाली. हा कार्यक्रम २७ फेब्रुवारी २०२६ रोजी आयोजित करण्यात आला.

Commemorating the Legacy of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj

The Literary Club, in collaboration with the NSS, organised an essay writing event to commemorate the birth anniversary of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. Students explored themes centered on his vision of Swarajya, strategic brilliance, progressive governance, and enduring relevance in the modern world. The activity fostered historical awareness, critical thinking, and patriotic values, encouraging participants to reflect on leadership, courage, and civic responsibility. Through thoughtful expression, the event promoted unity and national pride inspired by his timeless ideals, held on 19 February 2026.

LITERARIUM: A Literary Fest Where Words Come Alive

The Literary Club of Thakur Ramnarayan College of Arts and Commerce proudly organized its first-ever Lit Fest, Literarium, a celebration of literature that brought words to life through creative expression. The event featured an inspiring book launch by an eminent author and former Maharashtra DGP, alongside insightful panel discussions in both English and Hindi. A lively cosplay parade, felicitation ceremony, and interactive games ensured full engagement, making the day a vibrant, educational, and entertaining experience for students and literature enthusiasts alike, held on 22 November 2026.

Celebrating Hindi Diwas: The Literary Club Gives Voice to Expression

To honor the Hindi language, the Literary Club of Thakur Ramnarayan College of Arts and Commerce organized Hindi Diwas, uniting students from various colleges through an inter-collegiate debate, cultural program, and poetry recitation competition. Participants had a platform to express creativity, showcase talents, and engage in meaningful discussions. Powerful debates, soulful poetry, and colorful cultural performances highlighted the richness and beauty of Hindi, fostering appreciation for its literary heritage, and making the celebration both vibrant and memorable for everyone involved, held on 15 September 2025.

Premchand Jayanti: Bringing Stories and Literature to Life

The Literary Club of Thakur Ramnarayan College of Arts and Commerce celebrated Munshi Premchand Jayanti with a Story Reading Competition, encouraging students to present selected stories with clarity, emotion, and expressive narration. The event highlighted important social themes and universal values embedded in Premchand’s works, fostering understanding of Hindi literature while enhancing public speaking skills. Students gained confidence and learned the art of storytelling, making the celebration an engaging, enriching, and memorable literary experience for both participants and the audience, held on 4 August 2025.

मराठी दिन: भाषा, संस्कृती आणि वारसा यांचा गौरव

ठाकूर रामनारायण कला आणि वाणिज्य महाविद्यालयाच्या साहित्य मंडळातर्फे मराठी दिन मोठ्या उत्साहात साजरा करण्यात आला. या कार्यक्रमाद्वारे मराठी साहित्य, संस्कृती आणि परंपरांचा गौरव करण्यात आला. विद्यार्थ्यांनी गौळण, अभंग आणि कोळी नृत्य यांसारख्या सादरीकरणांमध्ये उत्साहाने सहभाग घेतला. तसेच कुसुमाग्रज यांच्या जयंतीनिमित्त कविता वाचन स्पर्धेचे आयोजन करण्यात आले. या कार्यक्रमातून मराठी संस्कृतीची समृद्ध परंपरा अधोरेखित झाली आणि संत तुकाराम तसेच पु. ल. देशपांडे यांसारख्या महान व्यक्तिमत्त्वांना अभिवादन करण्यात आले. विद्यार्थ्यांच्या सर्जनशील सहभागामुळे महाराष्ट्राच्या भाषिक आणि सांस्कृतिक वारशाबद्दल जागरूकता आणि अभिमान निर्माण झाला. हा कार्यक्रम २७ फेब्रुवारी २०२५ रोजी आयोजित करण्यात आला.

Book Launch Field Visit: Exploring Neurodiversity Through ‘Living with Adi’

The Literary Club of Thakur Ramnarayan College of Arts and Commerce organized a meaningful field visit to Pragnya Bodhini High School for the launch of Living with Adi by Zarin Virji. The book highlights the experiences of neurodivergent children in neurotypical environments, emphasizing the importance of awareness, empathy, and inclusive practices among peers, educators, and families. Students learned about creating safe, supportive, and understanding spaces at home and in schools, making the event both educational and socially impactful, fostering compassion and sensitivity, held on 10 August 2024.

Readers’ Club: Discovering Perspectives Across Genres

The Literary Club of TRCAC concluded the first month of its Readers’ Club activities in July 2024, offering students the opportunity to explore diverse literary perspectives. Participants engaged with three unique books—Ikigai by Francesc Miralles & Hector Garcia, Tuesdays with Morrie by Mitch Albom, and The Namesake by Jhumpa Lahiri—broadening their worldview while enhancing reading and language skills. The discussions encouraged reflections on life lessons, personal growth, and human experiences, making the club a platform for meaningful literary exploration, intellectual curiosity, and enjoyable engagement for all students.
